Zoono announces the approval of Zoono by the Ministry of Health in Turkey (Approval Number 2010/188). This approval was supported by a thorough evaluation of data by Turkish authorities as well as testing carried out at prestigious universities and other institutions in Turkey.
Results of this testing confirmed Zoono's proven efficacy as a surface disinfectant and protectant against a range of micro-organisms including Staphylococcus aureus (including the MRSA strain), E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida albicans and Legionella. The level of interest in Turkey for the products is extremely high.

Gary Broome is the founder of Foodtech International. He holds tertiary qulifications in Medical Technology with majors in Biochemistry and Microbiology. He is a Medical Technologist, DMedLTech (BMLS) and a State Registered Medical Technologist. Post graduate qualifications include Microbiology (A) from MLTB Otago Medical School, Low Acid Foods (USDA) from Massey University and HACCP from Massey University.

Gary Broome has extensive domestic and international experience of over 30 years in NZ Industry (Food) in particular in senior Technical, R&D, Operational, Marketing and Managerial positions with major NZ and Multinational Companies.
He is very experienced at working/liaising with CRI's and Research Institutes. Good connections also with NZ Industry and internationally. Close association over time with MIRINZ (Ag Research), IRL, Crop and Food, Hort+Research as well as Industry champions such as Meat and Wool and the major Australian R&D funders such as MLA and AMPC.
He is experienced in consulting to over 40 NZ and offshore companies including Cedenco, Mercer Technologies, Compac Sorting Equipment and multinationals in specialized manufacturing and food, beverage and FMCG production for such as the Mars Group, Goodman Fielder and Masterfoods to provide competitive advantage and grow business. Services have included senior management assistance, engineering design and development, operations, advisory board participation, product branding, technical (incl R&D) product, business and market development, equipment selection, installation and commissioning, packaging applications, new technology transfer and trouble shooting.
As a specialist Microbiologist, Gary is extensively experienced in sanitation of food plants and other facilities and consulting to industry in this sector.
Gary is very well connected in the Australasian and International Food and associated Manufacturing Industries including consultants, food producers, branding/advertisement, marketers, research institutes, tertiary education providers, funding agencies, and major packaging and equipment suppliers. Successfully established and co-ordinated “Foodsystems” a lobby group (of 30 NZ companies) to government and NZTE for international market development and intelligence funding for R&D as an Export Network.
He has held advisory roles to Industry and Government through technical seats in Meat, Fish and Horticulture. Appointments included the NZ Meat Regulation Advisory Committee, NZ Fishing Industry Board Technical Liaison Committee and National Fruit Standards Grading Committee in setting food and packaging legislation. Close relationship with all New Zealand Crown Research Institute’s (IRL, Crop and Food, Hort+Research, Ag Research-MIRINZ etc.,) and Universities.

Appreciative and experienced in funding aspects for Research & Development and projects in general from concept to commissioning. Successful funding applications include facilitation with FRST, NZTE and International agencies including Europe (Scandinavia) & South America. Strong association and appreciation of the role of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) in project funding assistance and international trade in particular.
