Zoono is pleased to announce that independent test results using our new product ZoonoTex against Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus ( MRSA) in fabrics have shown that after 75 washes Zoonotex was still killing this superbug at greater than 99%.

Zoono Group is pleased to announce new test results from New Zealand Laboratories against Ecoli and Staphylococcus Aureus. Our products were shown to deliver a 100% kill rate in the short term and still 99.9% after 14 days. Our hand sanitiser, GermFree24, was still killing at 100% after 24 hours.

Zoono announces the approval of Zoono by the Ministry of Health in Turkey (Approval Number 2010/188). This approval was supported by a thorough evaluation of data by Turkish authorities as well as testing carried out at prestigious universities and other institutions in Turkey.

Results of this testing confirmed Zoono's proven efficacy as a surface disinfectant and protectant against a range of micro-organisms including Staphylococcus aureus (including the MRSA strain), E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida albicans and Legionella. The level of interest in Turkey for the products is extremely high.

Zoono has appointed PureProtect Pty Ltd the exclusive Zoono distributor for Australia and New Zealand. This will enable Paul Hyslop to concentrate on growing the global business. PureProtect is currently the Australia and New Zealand Franchise Company and has developed many unique business opportunities for the Zoono products. PureProtect currently has approximately 30 franchisees.

Dairy Use Status for GermFree24 &Zoono Z-71. Zoono is pleased to announce that it has achieved AsureQuality (AQ) assessment passes for both GermFree24 and Zoono Z-71. This new status supplements existing New Zealand Food Safety approvals (NZFSA) in as much as it enables the use of the products in the wider applications areas of food and beverage including dairy farms and factories.

GermFree24 as AQ#2467 is considered suitable for use on hands and Zoono as AQ#2466 similarly on farms and in factories but also on food contact surfaces. For ready reference both are listed on the AsureQuality website. Current separate NZFSA C54 & C22 approvals already cover use in areas related to animal products. Assessments such as these will enable additional access to the NZ and Australian dairy and other food sectors and are expected to hold good favour in these sectors globally.

FEBRUARY 2010
Zoono management are pleased to announce testing against H1N1 [Swine Flu] has been completed in a highly regarded German Laboratory, one of the few laboratories globally qualified to test for H1N1. The testing was conducted by a World Authority (PhD) on swine flu.

Results show our products to be "Highly Active" against the Virus, and achieve a significant kill rate.

JANUARY 2010
Zoono wishes to advise that Abbott Laboratories in the UK has just completed longevity testing on GermFree 24.

10 healthy adults were used in the trial, Germ Free24 was applied to their hands; the persons then went about their daily business,their hands were retested and after 24 hours the bacteria kill rate on their hands was still 99.24% from just the original application.

This trial demonstrates the long term effectiveness of the GermFree24 hand sanitiser as used in a live trial. These test results are available to approved persons by contacting Paul Hyslop directly and signing a confidentiality agreement.

SEPTEMBER 2009
Zoono is pleased to announce that its hand sanitiser GermFree24 has now passed all required testing to enable the product to be sold in the UK health system (NHS). Zoono is delighted to have these results out as the Northern Hemisphere Flu season arrives.
