Zoono has appointed PureProtect Pty Ltd the exclusive Zoono distributor for Australia and New Zealand. This will enable Paul Hyslop to concentrate on growing the global business. PureProtect is currently the Australia and New Zealand Franchise Company and has developed many unique business opportunities for the Zoono products. PureProtect currently has approximately 30 franchisees.

Dairy Use Status for Germ Free 24 &Zoono Z-71. Zoono is pleased to announce that it has achieved AsureQuality (AQ) assessment passes for both Germ Free 24 and Zoono Z-71. This new status supplements existing New Zealand Food Safety approvals (NZFSA) in as much as it enables the use of the products in the wider applications areas of food and beverage including dairy farms and factories.

Germ Free 24 as AQ#2467 is considered suitable for use on hands and Zoono as AQ#2466 similarly on farms and in factories but also on food contact surfaces. For ready reference both are listed on the AsureQuality website. Current separate NZFSA C54 & C22 approvals already cover use in areas related to animal products. Assessments such as these will enable additional access to the NZ and Australian dairy and other food sectors and are expected to hold good favour in these sectors globally.

Zoono management are pleased to announce testing against H1N1 [Swine Flu] has been completed in a highly regarded German Laboratory, one of the few laboratories globally qualified to test for H1N1. The testing was conducted by a World Authority (PhD) on swine flu.

Results show our products to be "Highly Active" against the Virus, and achieve a significant kill rate.

Zoono wishes to advise that Abbott Laboratories in the UK has just completed longevity testing on GermFree 24.

10 healthy adults were used in the trial, Germ Free24 was applied to their hands; the persons then went about their daily business,their hands were retested and after 24 hours the bacteria kill rate on their hands was still 99.24% from just the original application.

This trial demonstrates the long term effectiveness of the Germ Free 24 hand sanitiser as used in a live trial. These test results are available to approved persons by contacting Paul Hyslop directly and signing a confidentiality agreement.

This deal is the culmination of 9 months of tests and trials conducted by independent Microbiologists, Food Technicians and Laboratories across a broad spectrum of food types and under many different conditions.

Zoono is pleased to announce that its hand sanitiser Germ Free 24 has now passed all required testing to enable the product to be sold in the UK health system (NHS). Zoono is delighted to have these results out as the Northern Hemisphere Flu season arrives.

Zoono has opened sales offices in London, Los Angeles, Sydney, Auckland, Phoenix, and has plans to shortly open a sales office in Asia. Zoono has also just appointed sub distributors in several countries.
